Wittenberg, 27.05. -.28.05.2011
The pleasant summer was welcomed by RTG through Wittenberg summer workshop which was held in Leucorea, Wittenberg. The Lutherstadt Wittenberg is a historical town with lot of interesting stories. The day started with mini-breakfast and applied mathematics and particle mechanics group presented their innovative results.
The walking city tour was the one of the best Stadt tour which RTG has never seen before. The students were enjoying the summer weather with greatest enthusiasm. The evening session was taken by drying and pore network group and followed by creep mechanics group. 15 students presented their past 6 months results and carefully collected valid suggestions from other student colleagues and professors.
The second day started with Crystal plasticity and its application towards creep behaviour. The last session was taken by thermal processing group. The workshop ended with professor's board meeting where usually next workshop is planned and future works of GRK.
